I just got an E-mail this morning from a really cool gal we’ve met a few times down at Vintage Hill. She was inspired by one of John’s art pieces. It turns out that Jocelyn has traveled with her mom to many places around the world, which is so amazing to me because I’ve only been to Canada once. I just love that they go together two women out to travel the world!! I love it.
While they travel Jocelyn takes beautiful pictures of the sun setting or rising. When she saw the the reconstructed barrel head it reminded her of a sunset. She told me what her idea was and I could see in her eyes that it was going to look cool all together, however I couldn’t see in her head and I don’t have a knack for visualizing. Well it turned out awesome! Here are the pictures she sent us and I love that she saw this when she first saw the piece.
It is inspiring as well that she took it and made it her own. Thank you Jocelyn for sharing these pictures.
